With the fifth and final meeting which has taken place in Bielefeld on July 11th and 12th the TrainIoT consortium has practically finalised the deliverables of the project and verified an internal checklist of all the required tasks so as to address the upcoming request for the final project report. A review of the activities of these three year action has analysed the accomplishment and quality of the main 5 intellectual outputs of the project which were: VET training curriculum modules, IoT MOOC and teaching material, IoT starter kit, IoT Broker System, and Publications about TrainIoT innovations. The project has also implemented some international training moments and a pilot testing activity so as to refine the project deliverables and test them in real school environment (Italy).
Overall satisfaction on behalf of the 7 partners from three countries (Germany, Estonia, and Italy) was expressed in the plenary evaluation session. The convincement within the consortium is that the aims and motives which had guided the drafting of this proposal over three years ago have been on one hand fully addressed and on the other hand developed with the unique and personal touch of each participating entity. The partnership believes having created good material for VET teachers and having made Internet of Things a more approachable didactic topic.
